The City of Wyandotte is pleased to

47th Annual Wyandotte Street Art Fair and Sidewalk
Sale.

The Art Fair will be held on Biddle Avenue, First, Maple & Elm
Street in downtown Wyandotte, Wednesday though Saturday, July
9, 10, 11, 12, 2008, Art Fair hours are 10 AM to 9
PM daily, &
Riverfront
Entertainment / Food Court hours are
Noon to 11 PM daily.
Annually the art
fair brings 200,000 visitors to Wyandotte.
EXECUTIVE
COMMITTEE: The Art Fair Committee is comprised of nine
members: Three from the City of Wyandotte, one representative
from the Business Association of Wyandotte, one representative
from the Downriver Arts and Crafts Guild, one representative from
the Acanthus Art Society and three representatives from the
community. -

STATISTICS: The Wyandotte Street Art Fair, a non-profit
event, is now in its 47th year.
There are approximately
250
artists and craftspeople participating representing
30 states and Canada.

variety of delicious cuisine to satisfy all visitors. -
A portion of
the proceeds from
all beer sales are donated to the Wyandotte Jaycees,
Program and all
Lemonade sales proceeds will benefit

Official 2008 Wyandotte Street Art Fair shirts will be for sale at
the Art Fair Information Booth at the corner of Maple and Biddle
Avenue - $TBA
for sizes up to Large, $TBA for shirts XL and larger.
CHILDREN'S
ACTIVITIES AREA -
Will be located on Elm at 1st Street and will include Bounce
Brothers Entertainment for people of all ages.
Ride
Prices range from $1 - $5
CHILDREN'S ART AREA
Will be located on Elm from Biddle Ave. to 1st Street will
feature, Candle Art, Face Painting, Candy Art, Ceramics, Wood,
Doll Clothes & Hand Art.
"SERVICE TO HUMANITY" NON-PROFIT
GROUPS -

Non-profit groups will be on 1st Street, from Elm to Maple
Street.
A group of dedicated non-profit organizations will display their
information.
AMERICAN RED CROSS -

will
host a blood drive on Friday, July 11, at Wyandotte City Hall,
from 11 AM - 5 PM. Help save a life and donate at the Wyandotte
Street Art Fair American Red Cross Blood Drive.
CHILDREN'S
EMPORIUM -

A special area for children will be located on First Street at
Maple. This area will feature the 27th Annual Children's Emporium
where children, 12 years of age and under, will be able to
purchase items
(cost
to be from $1 to $5)
which have been donated by participating artists. The Emporium
will only be open on
Saturday, from 10 AM. to 4 PM.
(Proceeds
are used for the Wyandotte Street Art Fair Scholarship Program.)
DOWNRIVER
ARTISANS GROUP -

The Downriver Artisan Group, located at the First United Methodist
Church (corner of Oak and Biddle Avenue), will feature many
special artists, from 10 AM to 4 PM. The church will also sponsor
an Annual Used Book Sale; the monetary contribution
from the book sale are used to support and sustain the religious
lending library.

Waterfront musical entertainment stage & the
"NEW" (dAP) Stage
will provide music for music enthusiasts of all ages
