How are artists chosen for the Art Fair?
The artists for the Wyandotte Street Art Fair are chosen through a jury process after
they have submitted an application with slides/CDs/photographs and the jury fee.
How do I become a food vendor in the Art Fair?
The participating food vendors at the Wyandotte Street Art Fair are juried from
food vendors that submit an application. Applications for the 2018 WSAF will be available soon.

Sponsors are very important to the continued success of the Wyandotte Street Art

What are the dates and hours of the Art Fair?
The Art Fair is held July 12th – 15th, opening at 10:00 am until 9:00 pm Wednesday
through Saturday. The Entertainment Area is open until 11:00 pm.
Am I allowed to ride my bicycle to the Art Fair?
You can ride your bike, roller blades, or skateboard to the Art Fair but once you
arrive you will have to walk them through the Fair. You will not be able to skate or
ride through the Fair.
What is the price to attend the Art Fair?
Admission to the Wyandotte Street Art Fair is FREE!
What kinds of things will I be able to see at the Art Fair?
The Art Fair features many artists that work in almost every media, from oils to
photography to jewelry to woodworking, etc.
Who organizes the Art Fair?
The Art Fair is organized by City Special Events Coordinator and staff, as well as an Art Fair Committee appointed by the Mayor.
How many years old is the Fair, or how many years has the Fair been running?
The Art Fair was first organized in 1961 by the Acanthus Art Society.
Will there be anything for my kids to do at the Fair?
The 2017 Children’s Activity Area, located at First and Elm Street as well as the Farmers Market grassy lot,
will feature an enhanced variety of arts and crafts for young families.
The Downriver Actors Guild will also be on site organizing a Children’s Entertainment Stage,
where local actors, puppeteers, clowns and many more will be performing during the event!
Will there be any rides at the Art Fair?
There are no rides at the Wyandotte Street Art Fair, this event showcases fine art
and is not a carnival.

intersection of Maple Street and Biddle Avenue. You can also download a copy of
the Art Fair map soon.

Can I bring my dog to the Art Fair?
Pets are NOT allowed at the Wyandotte Street Art Fair; however, certified service
animals are always welcome.
